Lovelady ISD Yearbook will be taking orders for yearbooks until May 29, 2015

Lovelady I.S.D. is now accepting nominations from the kindergarten classes for Advanced Academic Services (A2S), the district’s program for gifted and talented students. Please read the attached information to help you to determine whether your child is an appropriate candidate for A2S services. If you would like to nominate your child, please complete the nomination form below and the attached parent survey. Please return the both items no later than Monday, January 27, 2015.
Price Change for Student Lunches
Due to the requirements by USDA and Texas Department of Agriculture the board approved to change the lunch prices effective January 5, 2015 to the following:
Elementary / Middle School - $2.30
Junior High / High School - $2.45
Community Tree Lighting Event
Tuesday December 9, 2014
6:30 pm at the Elementary School
Santa will be lighting the tree and there will be milk and cookies served following carols.
Lovelady ISD will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday beginning Wednesday, November 26, 2014 and will reopen on Monday, December 1, 2014

Boxtops for Education Contest from September 30, 2014 to October 27, 2014
For Elementary and Middle School students. Last year we raised almost $1000 that we used to buy recess equipment, UIL supplies, PE equipment, Lovefest performance supplies, music supplies, art supplies and STAAR end of the year rewards.

Lovelady FFA Starts their Fall Fundraising
The Lovelady FFA Chapter will be starting its annual fundraiser Monday, September 8, 2014. This fundraiser includes Fresh Country Signature Collection Cookies and Desserts and Seitz Fundraising Premium Meats. That’s right! Those delicious chocolate chip cookies, pecan cobblers, smoked hams and the Hunter’s Packs are back at Lovelady FFA! The fundraiser will run for two complete weeks and end Monday, September 22, 2014 All fundraiser items are expected to be ready for pick-up and delivery in late October or early November. These fundraisers help sponsor the Lovelady FFA as they travel to various leadership contests, career development events, conventions, and livestock shows. We greatly appreciate the continued help and support of our community. If you would like to support the Lovelady FFA through our fall fundraisers, please talk to a Lovelady FFA Member or the Lovelady FFA Advisors, David Christie or Jessica Lambert.
