We will be having a canned food drive beginning Monday December 7, 2015 and running through Wednesday December 15, 2015. All donations stay in the community.
Regular admission fees to the December 8, 2015 Girls Basketball Game may be waived by donating 2 canned good items per Adult and 1 canned good item per Student.
JH and HS Students turn your canned good items into your 4th Period Teacher.

Children and parents will go to the cafeteria for their gruesome dinner of witches brew (green punch), witch fingernails, ghoulash, and shredded worms (frito pie). They will be dismissed at 6:00 pm to the classes, for some spooktacular fun. The students along with their parents will be divided into groups by grade level. Pre-k and K will go to the Pre-k/K area and participate in 2 30 minute activities; 1st-3rd will go to the 1st-4th hall and participate in 3 20 minute activities, and 4th-6th will go to the 5th/6th hall and participate in 3 20 minute activities.
PUBLIC NOTICE
Public Hearing on First Rating
The Lovelady ISD Board of Trustees will be holding a public hearing to discuss the School FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas) rating. The Lovelady School district received a met standard rating this past year, the highest rating given by the state. The met standard rating is based upon an analysis of staff and student data reported for the 2013-2014 school year, and budgetary and actual data for the 2014 fiscal year.
The hearing will be conducted at the regular school board meeting that has been scheduled to occur on October 19, 2015 in the Lovelady High School Library at 7:00 P.M.
