The 63rd Annual Lovelady Calf Show
That’s right! It’s that time again! The 63rd Annual Lovelady Calf Show is Saturday, February 24, 2018 starting at 10:00 am. As tradition holds, every year, ten students are chosen from the Lovelady FFA Chapter to exhibit a steer in the annual calf show, held at the Lovelady Ag Arena. These ten students spend countless hours in the corn fields planting and harvesting the corn crop for the steers, working to halter-break their steers, developing their feeding programs and grooming their steers for show. This tradition began in 1954 and this year’s group of students will complete all the same requirements as those exhibitors that have come before them.
We would like to wish all these students a great show year and good luck at the Calf Show.
