COVID-19 Situation
Dear Lovelady ISD Parents and Guardians,
Although we have been on spring break, our administrative team has continued to monitor the COVID-19 situation. Over the break our staff has been working to disinfect all facilities as well as buses.
The Texas Education Agency, health experts, and government officials have been providing all public schools with guidance regarding this rapidly changing situation. At this time no decision regarding the closure of public schools in Texas has been made, especially those who do not currently have a case of COVID-19. All decisions are being left to the local districts.
We will notify everyone by Saturday at 2:00 should any decisions be made that may alter our regular school schedule of returning on Monday.
We encourage you to monitor our website for the most current information. Should any changes be made we will utilize our communication system to inform everyone.
We want to thank you for your patience and support. For your part, please enjoy the rest of your break, stay home if you are sick, wash your hands regularly, and continue to follow CDC recommendations.
Thank you,
Wendy Tullos
