Lovelady Schools and Churches will be collecting items to send to the students and teachers of Deweyville Elementary and Middle Schools to help after the recent floods. Deweyville Elementary and Middle Schools are almost a total loss. Most classrooms have had about 5' of muddy water standing in them. The majority of homes have been under water. Officials are going to try to get into the buildings today to see what can be salvaged. Items will be collected at the school and local churches. Collection will end on Thursday.
