Attention Seniors!
If you are planning on applying to The University of Texas @ Austin and/or Texas A&M – Main Campus the applications will open August 1st. These are highly competitive schools so you need to apply early. Applications can be found at www.applytexas.org . All other Universities will open their applications around October. If you are planning on applying to one or both of these schools, please let me know so that I can send in your transcript.

Those of you applying to Texas A&M or UT @ Austin: Remember your application and scholarship application need to be submitted my December 1st. Your transcript and/or scores have to be at the admissions office by December 1st as well.
Dual Credit classes are offered for junior and senior students to earn college credits through Angelina College. Courses offered on campus are: College English and College History. Other courses such College Government, Economics, College Algebra, and College Spanish are offered online and/or at the Crockett Center.
Lovelady ISD continues to encourage and provide opportunities for students to participate in higher level learning through enrollment in college classes. Students wishing to enroll in these classes will complete the necessary paperwork in the Spring, before beginning these classes in the following Fall. Placement exams for enrollment are also required. For more information, students need to see the counselor.
